I enjoyed the complimentary tapas served prior to dinner, I stay at the Hotel Grand Chancellor often and it never fails to impress with service and quality. I enjoy dining in the Encore restaurant wherever i am there, the staff are friendly and nothing seems like too much effort. I had the black angus rib eye last time I was there and I can't recommend it enough, it was cooked to perfection and the meat was soft and juicy.

A bloody unreal meal! Me and the Mrs wanted a feed before seeing a show round the corner and loved it. Had the Black Angus Steak which was cooked to perfection on the grill and the wife had chicken which she loved. The young lady that helped us was unreal and didn't cost an arm and a leg either. Will be back for the anniversary next month!

Was given a voucher for $20 main meals which we used. A great deal! Quality of food was very good, and looking out the big windows to Lonsdale St was a nice touch. Service was understated but efficient, just as it should be when you are dining out with your significant other!

The kangaroo main I had was no cooked well. My dinning partner had the porterhouse steak, which looked much less than the advertised 250 grams. She was given no steak knife to eat it with. Nor were we given any bread at the start of the course. Short changed on food and service skills.
