This is the best Greek food in Adelaide. My family and I have been eating here 2 to 3 times each year for over 10 years - unbelievable. We eat out a lot and Estia is our favourite. Go for the platter and ask for anything you want from the menu and it will be arranged. We even asked for chicken and lamb yiros (not on menu) and this was arranged from their take-away section next door. Desserts are fantastic. Service great. i am greek and this is some of the best tasting authentic food i've ever eaten. the lamb fillet is to die for and the cheese saganaki is a must!! it can get noisy but thats the greek way!!! you will leave with a very full belly, a bottle of soda water for the drive home is a good idea.   (andrea - See my reviews (2) - January, 2009)

the food was fantastic,very hard to choose what to have,ended up having lamb fillets and octopus both cooked to perfection washed down with a beautiful bottle of cab sav !! the service could not be faulted, friendly and informative, we felt welcome the moment we walked in!!! apart from the fact that we had probably chosen the busiest night of the week ( fairly noisy!) we had a great night very relaxing would definately go again to try more dishes!!!   (estia restaurant - November, 2008)

two girls brought me here, it was my first meal in Australia and the service was terrible. the food was great, but we had to ask to order, and were simply forgotten more than once. i was not impressed with the service but the food was not bad. i think we just had a bad waiter who was new to waiting tables, the food i had was a redfish and it was full of bones, which was okay but not expected the way the sold it on the menu. also the place was very crowded and hard to walk through. i thought it was a good sign to see it so crowded, but i think we got bad service because the place was already full and they didn't need our business.

i would go back for the olives though. i didn't see that much Greek food on the menu that i recognized.   (July, 2008)

We had the Meze Banquet - the food was great! There was plenty of it! And, it allowed us to try some things we might not normally have! Plus, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was just a little disappointed that the fire place wasn't on at lunch, but I have been assured it is always on at dinner.
