Everton Park Hotel

We had a group of 15 and it was the most horrible dining experience for all of us. The service was disgusting - we all ordered our food at the same time, but the dishes did not come out together. The time difference between the first person getting their dish and the last person was 1 HOUR !! We then had 1 person want a side of mash potato - which they proceeded to put onto someone else's plate. When we asked where it was - they pointed to someone's steak dish (which had the chips replaced by the potato) and pointed and said there it was. It was the worst night out we've ever had.....   (Reen - August, 2008)

great location. Carosel not running and children very disappointed. Food great and service good except my parents and aunt and uncle waited 50 minutes for their meal. Bar prices a bit high. Overall though we had a good night.   (July, 2008)

Food is good value and good portion size. Chips could have been a bit hotter but where OK. The wait staff stank. No personality and lack of interest and the male Restaurant Manager was very sarcastic in his attitude to our questions   (July, 2008)

Only complaint was the long queue standing in line to order. Could have another register on in busy times. Food didn't take too long after we ordered though and the staff were lovely.   (June, 2008)

This hotel is great if you have kids. They have a fantastic play area for kids which is outside and fully gated. There are tv cameras inside so that you can keep an eye on the kids. Play area includes, dvd room, games room and extensive outdoor play equipment, Makes dining with kids a breeze!   (June, 2008)

Food reasonable although one steak over cooked and my chips were cold. Staff need to sort out their Customer. Service Skills, three of the Staff we dealt with had no idea about service and there's clearly some real issues there. The Mens Toilets really stank and my Wife said that the Baby Change area stank and was very unhygenic. The only good thing about this place is the childrens play area. Its clear that the Management either don't read this web site or don't care about the service their Staff provide.   (sjl99 - June, 2008)

Except for the nice guy who seated us, no other staff member acted as if they wanted to be there. My steak was nice on the inside and charcoal on the outside. My wife was given a warm cast wine which was off as her house wine. Will not be back. Shame as playground is great and wasnt so bad last time. Service needs a kick up the bum and learn to smile.You are the front line to this business.   (Ben - April, 2008)

We had 20 people for our function and it went very well. The food service was great we didnt have to wait very long for our meals at all and everyone was happy. The quality of food was fantastic. The kids playground was awesome and the staff we great. All of them were happy and helpful and nothing was a problem.
