Overall 8.5 - Food 10, Ambience 8, Value 8, Service 8

Food was superb. Only suggestion would be for the diner to ask for a bread knife / sharp knife if you are ordering the bread - bread itself was delicious but when sharing very difficult to neatly cut away pieces.

Setting was lovely but a little too quiet.

Took a while to get the bill.   (wendy - See my reviews (3) - October, 2008)

Very enjoyable. Friendly staff.   (August, 2008)

Overall 6.3 - Food 8, Ambience 4, Value 6, Service 7

The food at Eve's was great but it was a really cold night and the whole restaurant was open to the elements with only one heater working... it made it hard to enjoy the meal. The staff were very friendly and efficient but stacking chairs while people are still eating their mains is a little off putting.   (August, 2008)

Overall 6 - Food 5, Ambience 7, Value 7, Service 5

We had eye fillet which is supposed to be the best part of beef, asked to serve it medium, turned out to be well done, really dry and hard to chew. chicken breast wrapped with procuitto was pretty gd, the turkist ratatoille went well with that too. for desert we had strawberry crepe which came out in a really large portion.. well worth the value but the tiramisu was kinda awkward to eat.   (August, 2008)

Overall 7.5 - Food 7, Ambience 6, Value 9, Service 8

We took up the $55 special and thought the offer was good value, They offered us an entree and main each or main and dessert. We had entree's and mains. Ordered Salmon and it didn't have any flavour. Something missing with the restaurant's ambience- we sat outside, it wasn't very busy. Service was good.   (July, 2008)

Went for breakfast. Thought everything was great. Would definitely go back.   (Terry - See my reviews (4) - July, 2008)

Had a shocker steak sandwich, chewy! Companions also unimpressed with their meals. Coffee good. Place was empty so not much atmosphere, staff a little disinterested. Great location though   (July, 2008)

"Twice-cooked pork belly ($27) is another of the chef’s staples, and it was easy to see why. The pork arrived tender and moist..."
