Fasta Pasta Reynella

I went to dinner last weekend to Fasta Pasta Reynella with my family. I ordered a chicken parmijana and my husband ordered a spaghetti marinara. My kids got the usual kids meals and free soft drink and gelati.

I was greeted very nicely, and got to choose where we would sit even though the restaurant was full.

I went up to order and was happily greeted by a young girl at the counter. She put our orders through while i went back with some cutlery to our table. Soon after the complimentary bread, butter and parmasen cheese was given to us and of course- the kids dug in.

In the meantime, the chefs were obviously very busy preparing meals for a very full restaurant (at one moment there was only 1 table to seat 4 people free) and obviously preparing take away orders too.

My meals came out within 15 minutes which was surprising seeing as they were pretty busy. We all ate our meals-enjoying them so much, the kids got bits of bread to suck up the rest of the sauce on their plates.

The waitressess cleared our table as soon as we were finished and the kids ran up to get their gelati.

my husband and i ordered the very impressive cake and coffee deal- any coffee with a cheesecake for $5.90. The mars bar cheescake my husband ordered was so yummy, he ordered one for dessert the following night, my aero moose was so good, that i ordered one for dessert the next night too.

Really and truly, the Reynella Fasta Pasta is an amazingly family friendly restaurant and i strongly encourage you to goo there and try it out before you judge the owners or staff on other peoples oppinions.

I've written this on another site but thought i'd put my two cents in here as I've never had such terrible pasta before...

We dined-in on the 1st Nov and will never, ever go again. We ordered the Spagehetti Bolognaise, Cabornara and Garlic Bread. The food came out in around 10 minutes which was great but the bolognaise my partner ordered was half cold- there were some warm bits of pasta and some cold, it was very dry and had very little meat sauce. He only had a few bites as it was terrible. I, on the otherhand, ate most of my cabornara. Mostly because I was very hungry. It came out hot, which was a plus but never in my life have I put so much salt and pepper and parmesan on a meal before- just to make the dish not so bland. I'd say there were approx 5 tiny (and I mean TINY!) pieces of bacon in the caborana sauce.. not much of a sauce at all really...

The garlic bread was simply the 'free' bread they give you as you are waiting for your order, but with a little bit of 'garlic butter'.. and it seemed as though they had slightly melted the butter.. not crisp or cooked at all. Not to mention the 'free' bread was so stale, we didn't eat it.

I wasn't expecting much for $10 a meal and I'm not a fussy eater at all... but seriously.. I could of made a quick pasta dish with pre-made sauce for half the price and 100 times tastier! And I'm no advanced cook.

I have told everyone I know about this terrible experience at Fasta Pasta and I recommend you do not waste your money here. Your better off going to Mcdonalds across the road. At least the food is half decent and hot- much more value for money than this place!

Oh, and the place had only a couple people at 'dinner time'.. I should of realised that the lack of customers was due to the horrible so-called 'food' they serve there.
