    I had my parents over from NZ and thought that we would have a nice fish meal, and we wernet disappointed, the food was fantastic, the oysters were so plump and tasty, and all the meals were though...

    hubby had flathead fillets served on olive/oil mash....bit too oily. I had the rocket, pumpkin and goat cheese salad and I'm still looking for the goat cheese????? very disappointing and expensive!...

      I had my parents over from NZ and thought that we would have a nice fish meal, and we wernet disappointed, the food was fantastic, the oysters were so plump and tasty, and all the meals were thoughly enjoyed. the only thing was tht my salmon was slightly overcooked, but the flavour was gso good that it didnt matter. thanks   (amy13 - August, 2011)

      hubby had flathead fillets served on olive/oil mash....bit too oily. I had the rocket, pumpkin and goat cheese salad and I'm still looking for the goat cheese????? very disappointing and expensive!!!! There were only 4 tiny fillets of fish and not much mash. This was our second visit and will probably give it the flick. No value for money.   (kerry - February, 2011)

      While the service was good, wait-persons attentive and polite, aside from a crowd of boisterous and excited adolescents coming in for just ice cream cones and photos, the overall ambiance was relaxing, but the food was well below average. We ordered the tasting plate for 2 at $62, and a bottle of wine. A bottle is way too much for two, yet the girl at the bar threw the top in the bin so that we could not take the remainder of the bottle home after the night. The prawns were overcooked as was the calamari , the Thai fish cakes were like rocks, and the strangest thing was that everything was in multiples of 3 on a tasting plate for 2! Desert was crepes, and banana with caramel sauce, and vanilla bean sorbet. Both the crepes were burnt, and the sorbet was more like vanilla ice cream. Disappointing as we had been told that the food was "supposed" to be exceptional.   (Winkle - See my reviews (28) - July, 2009)

      Best Calamari I have ever had! I think it was Lime and Chili Calamari in the entree section - so yummy. I have dined here a fair bit...my partner and I always enjoy it. Fresh and tasty.   (MsEatalot - See my reviews (16) - May, 2009)

      I would eat here every day ... very friendly, food's great but not your usual run-of-the-mill seafood. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED   (familyfoodie - May, 2007)
