    We are located at Main Beach just 20 metres from the Pacific Ocean overlooking the mountains and our famous Cape Byron Lighthouse. The Restaurant, housed in the original Bathers Pavilion built in 1951, was refurbished most recently in 2003 and with the addition of the outdoor beachfront deck, is now one of Byron’s best dining locations.

      Great location, above average food, pathetic service. Been there many times and still the wrong meals are brought to the table. A couple of the waiters are so so bad. They should be moved to the takeaway section. Come on Fishheads, get some decent staff   (pokeher - April, 2011)

      You can't go past Fishheads for fresh seafood in Byron Bay. The seafood platter for 2 is fabulous, just make sure you order a couple of side dishes. Great service and cosy atmosphere for a beach front restaurant.   (Gemma - See my reviews (3) - October, 2008)

      Food was very nice when we finally received it after firstly the wrong entree and almost a 2 hour wait. Not sure what was going on very disappointing.   (kea - August, 2008)

      Great beachfront spot for lunch. Snapper beautifully cooked but served with green beans instead of asparagus which was on the menu. ("ran out"). Excellent coffee. Relaxed, friendly good service. Will go again.   (the peripatetic palate - January, 2007)
