      We had heard many things about the restaurant (good & bad) and decided to give it a go. We were very impressed! The ambience was friendly and the food was delicious. Loved the Beef Cheeks and the Swordfish. Thanks for a great night out.   (WinenDine - April, 2011)

      After so many great comments from friends who have been to Focus on James, we decided to book a birthday party and see for ourselves. The mixed entree was delicious, as was the Swordfish. The smaller kids were well catered for and the bigger kids chose from the normal menu. My 11yo son had the Pork Rib and loved it, even the beetroot puree. Service for our large party was excellent and everybody enjoyed the night. We will be definately making Focus a regular dinner evening. Well done.   (Foodelicious - February, 2011)

      Overall, disappointing. The size of the meals was not value for money, especially the pineapple rice with 5 prawns for $28!! Meals were mixed up or they were not what was ordered and when staff was advised, the attitude was not appreciated.   (Gina - February, 2011)

      Both my Partner and I were very happy with the service, it felt as if we were the only people there and we were getting special treatment. very nice food and value for money. Congratulations on running such a nice and solid restaurant and bar.

      Overall a bit dissapointing. Breads as a starter were bland tasteless without much imagination. The main meals were fresh and tasty but had to send the chicken back as it was grossly overcooked (Lemongrass Chicken as part of the tasting plate). The second chicken dish was still overcooked. The lamb shoulder and seared duck were fantastic. Corkage was $10 which I think is too much. The entertainment was a little strange, female comedian that turned into a balloon clown????
