Four Winds Revolving Restaurant is located on the 26 th floor of the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise and has been a local landmark and premier tourist attraction since its opening in March 1991. Offering unsurpassed 360 degree panoramic views of the Gold Coast skyline, beaches and hinterland, Four Winds is unique to both the Gold Coast and Queensland, being the State’s only revolving restaurant.

Initially we were a little annoyed when we discovered that we were unable to go to the restaurant between 7:30 and 8pm as we had a booking for 8pm and wanted to be there in time. We decided to try the Four Winds Revolving Restaurant after hearing it was situated at the Crowne Plaza where we were staying. Initially we were a little annoyed when we discovered that we were unable to go to the restaurant between 7:30 and 8pm as we had a booking for 8pm and wanted to be there in time. Apart from this we had a rather memorable experience once we arrived. We were greeted warmly and shown our table and our request for a high chair was met with no troubles. My partners only qualm was the fact that it was mainly seafood and that the other choices were limited so if you do not like seafood I would think twice about going.

Overall I would highly recommend the restaurant to seafood lovers and those wanting a dining experience with a difference.   (December, 2008)

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at FWR. The waiters were courteous and attentive. The food was delicious, although the price per person was a bit high.
