The concept of tapas haven't been adopted at this place despite the fact that it is a tapas restaurant. We ordered 2-3 dishes each. Didn't get our first dish until after 40-45 minutes and the place wasn't even crowded! Waited for the rest to arrive, so we could taste the different dishes. Na, didn't happen. After another good 20 we asked the staff when the rest is coming and they responded with that the dish we got is the entire and the rest will be served as a main dish. Couldn't believe it! Tapas served as entrees and mains?? So we sat there and ate our fish, mushroom, or meat balls separately...

The restaurant was a huge disappointment and I wouldn't go back even if I was paid.   (trew - September, 2009)

A lovely restaurant with terrific menu. Tapas varied and very tasty, and love the outside area among the roses in the summer. When you visit , ask for a glass of their Spanish white wine - yum   (See my reviews (3) - October, 2008)

Met with a very warm welcome, the friendly service continued through the evening with wine and food well interspaced, the glasses never empty and the plates allowed to sit long enough to talk over. Great. Will be back next time we are in the State.   (June, 2008)

I often dine at Franciscos and always find the service and food lovely. The tapas are the delicious, and the wine list is well thought out and good value for money. I highly recommed this restaurant.   (May, 2008)

This restaurant is wonderfull, we go regularly and love their tapas. Fantastic food, wonderfull and personal service. It is not BYO but who cares if the food is as good as this.
