"Service was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps a little noisey, but not totally distracting. I had the swordfish which was very good and well presented. My friend was a little disappointed in her canelloni - thought it was "doughy". Prices, perhaps a little on the expensive side. The chocolate tart was delicious !!"

Great dining experience   (John - See my reviews (5) - November, 2008)

Frangos and Frangos certainly has the atmosphere of what I imagine would be a busy Italian eatery but I found the food overpriced in relation to the quality. Service was impeccable, if not a tad over-the-top, and overall I enjoyed the dining experience at this restaurant.   (Leahjo - See my reviews (6) - November, 2008)

Great meal; pleasant ambience; friendly service. Will definitely return when next in Daylesford.   (January, 2008)

Overall 6.3 - Food 5, Ambience 8, Value 6, Service 6

All started well with a dellicious entree of Saganaki. The ambience was lovely but unfortunately the main meal (ragu) was more than disappointing - served luke warm with very little taste. This coupled with the snooty waiter resulted in our Frangos & Frangos experience being less than desired.   (Maggie - June, 2007 - June, 2007)

Overall 7.8 - Food 8, Ambience 8, Value 7, Service 8

We had an enjoying dining experience at Frangos & Frangos and thought the food offered well constructed flavours and presentation. The Gnocchi with Brussel Sprout leaves and an assortment of nuts is recommended. While the prices are at the upper end along with some of Melbourne's finest restaurants, Frangos & Frangos is definitely still worth a look.   (May, 2007)

Overall 3.5 - Food 2, Ambience 7, Value 1, Service 4

This would have to possibly be the worst Gnocchi I have ever had and a total rip off. Expensive prices and over rated venue and I wont be back.   (Lover of good service - See my reviews (27) - May, 2007)
