They did try and re-heat the food but in doing this completely spoiled it and so I refused to accept it and asked for the meal to be re-done. The pub is a blend of art nuveuox & sleek modern decking with decent housing in the upstairs accomadation. Fresca is the hotel's restaurant run by chefs Patrick & Kathy Hobbs & offers in my oppinion the best dining experience on the coast. Share plates of war ed spiced olives to duck pate with port glazed figs or saltcod brandade & pureed broad beans really get the palate going. My duck confit with cherries was the best i've eaten & loads of love flowing over my friends lamb shanks. Portions are generous so save room for sweets. The customer is always right.................. not at Fresca, Bangalow.........be warned! (Aussie Diner - January, 2008) Very unusual menu. The shared entrees were a taste sensation!l What makes this restaurant really good value is the fact that you can walk through a dooway and buy your wine at bottle shop prices. All the Wait Staff were excellent, except for one Blonde Waitress, who all our party, along with the table next to us (who over heard her comments). agreed she was very unpleasant and rude. Some of the people at both tables said that they would have left the restuarant if she had spoken to them that way. This Lady is definately not suited to Hospitality. All that aside the meal were excellent. The Bagged Muscles were to Die for........compliments to the Chef. Definately give it a second chance. (Fresca - December, 2007) We found Fresca at the Bangalow Hotel to a great night out. Food & Ambience Excellent. And all but one of the wait staff were great. One Blondish Waittress was very unpleasant, we all agreed, as did the people at the table next to us. That her comments were unprovoked and she appeared to has a huge chip on her shoulder, not at all suited to the Hospitality Industry. The Bagged Muscle were to die for........compliments to the chef.
