  Great meals in a great old-school pub! There were 16 of us and everyone was happy with their meals. I had the lamb shanks, which were sensational.

  Great wine list, with some fantastic local wines to enjoy whilst looking over the wineries! Will be back!   (Old School Charm - See my reviews (2) - March, 2010)

  To be honest the last time we came here it was full of drunken country folk (it is sandwiched between 2 of the unfriendliest towns in Western Vic - Rockbank and Melton), but we put this down to being a Saturday night etc and were happy to go back. Unfortunatly towards the end of the night we noticed a couple of guys eyeballing our male guests from accross the room and this was a Thursday. And those rather agressive gentlement turned out to be the owner and a friend of his. Waiting staff were dreadful - food was good, but the bread we ordered arrived just before desert and the wine selection was terrible - particularly of concern as it between a couple of reasonable wineries.   (See my reviews (5) - August, 2008)

  Love the Secret. We love going to the Secret at least once a Fortnigt. Raelene makes us feel like a part of the place. Great Food, Great Service. Great on a cold day with the fire roaring. Just love the Secret.   (Bette - December, 2007)

  Every time we have eaten there, the whole package has just been superb. On Sundays they have roast night so all you can eat for $22 or thereabouts with dessert. They have an open fire and a big screen TV for all the sport fans.   (gamekeepers Inn - See my reviews (2) - March, 2007)
