    great combination of everything, great atmosohere. The only thing that could make it better would be some backgrouod music for ambience. Beautiful food.

      Unfortunetely, I was at work when I made this booking and was unable to read the email and so had no idea we had to be finished by 7:15pm however, we decided we would have time to eat but it was not comfortable as my friend wanted a bottle of wine so it was all rushed.

      We are very old customers of Giardinettos from way back and hadn't been there for a long time. I was very surprised to find Lasagne was not on the menu and surely any Italian restaurant worth it's salt would have the standard Italian dish on the menu. We were keeping our eye on the time but thought it very rude when they started clearing things up at 7pm and at 7.10pm the guy came and stood right next to our table and looked at his watch. We were then spoken to and told we could move to a table down the back if we wanted to stay but we said no that we would be going, we paid the bill and were out of there by just after 7.15pm.

      It's worth mentioning that there were no new clients waiting for the table at the time we left so we just wanted to give some feedback. Wont be going there again, it's not at all how we remembered it and when you have only a limited number of tables and space, perhaps you need to realise you can't take so many bookings after all, it's only half the size it used to be.

      I love this restaurant! Could there be such a restaurant in a prime position in the Valley and you can still walk out with change in your pocket? Yes, it is Giardinetto's. Great Italian - love the calzone and risotto. And to book on-line, a table is fantastic. I find it hard to make time to call for a reservation so to be able to do it all online is bloody fantastic!   (Yols - November, 2007)
