"My daughter and myself visited the tavern last week and enjoyed an excellent meal. The seafood and steak were cooked to perfection. Apparently they have a new chef. Great meal - October 2008."

"my husband, myself and 10 year old went to this tavern last week during our stay at Kalbarri; the order came to over $60; my daughters food arrived 20 mins before mine, her salad was covered in balasmic vinegar, and so was the rest of the food, she did not eat it because of this. my husband, myself and 10 year old went to this tavern last week during our stay at Kalbarri; the order came to over $60; my daughters food arrived 20 mins before mine, her salad was covered in balasmic vinegar, and so was the rest of the food, she did not eat it because of this. My food arrived next, more balasmic vinegar drenched the whole meal, the chips were stone cold, the fish dry and taseless, i did not eat it; my husband's meal came with creamy mushroom sauce, however, this had been substituted without permission to onion gravy - he hates onions, once again vinegar covered the whole meal, chips cold, chicken greasy and tough, he did not eat it. When we complained to the waitress, she said 'ok' and noone bothered to come to speak to us, even though we sat for an hour after finishing our 'meal'. A very expensive waste of money. WILL NOT BE RETURNING   (unacceptable meal - April, 2008)

“Outside courtyards and balcony, all with ocean and river aspects, great views of the Murchison River mouth.”
