I ordered eggs benedict florentine$11.50, i received eggs benedict salmon $13.50 - I didn't send it back because I was so hungry. I ordered a flat white with my meal, I received a large flat white. I asked why I wasn't offered the choice of large or regular to be told, "I automatically give large coffees because the regular ones are so small. After questioning the waitress about the above she did refund me the $2.00 overcharged because of her error. It seems every time I visit my local hotel there are problems. I submitted my comments about the pizza & nachos on Friday. In addition to the above, my partner & I recently purchased a bottle of wine & a pint of beer to be short changed $10. I was given the correct change only after I pointed it out to the bar maid immediatley. Very disappointing.

The first time we ordered pizza, salami was forgotten. Pizza sent back & rectified. The second time we ordered pizza, very minimal topping. The third time we ordered Nachos. Very little topping for the amount of corn chips. Pints of beer very expensive.

The dining experience was great, can get a little noisey on a friday evening but that adds to the friendly atmosphere. The food seemed a little pricey to begin with but the quality of what was delivered was exceptional! service was friendly and thorough. Will most definitely be returning.

Very nice food. Can be very loud on a Friday and Saturday night. It's good that you can't hear the pokies while you are eating your meal. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Had a wonderful dinner, food was really nice not your normal pub which is a great difference. May only improve with service from waitress by possibly doing table service. However that is about it all up fab night out.

finally somewhere this side of town to have a decent meal! excellent service, excellent prices, the chef (peter) made some magic that night - i was amazed!! excellent work guys - be back soon!!

Fantastic dining experience at the tavern on Saturday 26th January. Staff very polite and attentive on seating, drink service and taking our meal order. Was surprise at the high quality of food and service. I have seen the advertisements in the paper and it is well worth the visit from the other side of town. Great night out. Will recommend to friends.

all round thumbs up for the grove bistro - excellent food and service - had the chicken risotto and salt and pepper squid, loved the meals. also a really good wine list! the band playing was really good too - well done, we will be back!!

Fanatastic dining experience. Service was much improved since my last visit (albeit some 8 years ago). Menu selection very varied; some thing to tempt everyone's taste buds.

The Grove Bistro was fantastic venue to spend the evening. The food was impressive, it was hard to choose what to have. The service was great, drinks served to the table and an extensive wine list with lots of great SA wines. The atmosphere was relaxing, the dimmed lighting, candles on tables, the band later in the evening. Fantastic, will be back!!

we had a very nice experience on all levels when dining at this tavern bistro .....we recommend....... food was above average.....a really good wine list at reasonable prices.... well presented staff who gave good service.. loved it

Excellent Service! The waiter (Marcus) was fantastic and the boy who brought us drink (Daniel) was equally as good! A fantastic place to spend an entire evening! Highly recommended!!
