      I found it hard to find a place in Bendigo that could do a dinner for 30 people for my wife's birthday, but gpo was happy to accommodate. They suggested the courtyard and it was perfect. We were thrilled with the food, it all came out together, was hot and really delicious. Staff were friendly and they even designed a special cocktail for my wife's birthday, which was a great touch!   (shane - August, 2010)

      This would have to be the best restaurant in Bendigo, have been several times for lunch and dinner and every time seems to get better. The bar tender there really knows what he is doing. I asked for a cocktail that is not well known and he knew exactly what I wanted and it was amazing! Staff were really friendly and efficient and always has a great buzz.       A lovely girl and I went here for a late night (after 9pm wed) hot drink before calling it an evening, order 2 hot chocolates and went up stairs, got talking on the comfy couch wondering where our drinks were, 50mins later near close we received a bill for drinks that we did not receive? when said we did not have them they told us we should of reminded them an hour ago, that would be 10mins before we arrived, the coffee machine was now turned off. We had a laugh stayed until we were gently reminded that it was close and left the warm couches and went home without our drink, left the embarrassed waiter to close the doors after us.   (beer barron - June, 2010)

      Arrived and ordered cocktail because they say they are experts. Margarita looked like dirty water, no salt rim, tasted awful. Carpets and seats seriously stained and dirty. Decided not to risk the food ... gave food an average rating, as a guess.   (peter brennan - May, 2010)

      We took visitors from Mildura there for dinner on Saturday night. The food, wine and service was excellent. A good night had by all.
