I have been eating at this restaurant for 10 years and the food is fantastic. Great quality of food. Cooked by a mother and daughter. Fantastic flavour. Would highly recommend the garlic prawns, chilli con queso and the beef dip. Full of flavour.   (orange1 - December, 2010)

Really nice, family restaurant. Although the service was a little haphazard in places, the food more than made up for it. I highly recommend the garlic prawns and the fajitas – generous proportions, and very authentic! I will be making Grand Taco a regular of mine.   (Food lover - June, 2010)

I've had better Mexican food from the food court at Westfields. The serving was tiny and had no flavour. The majority of the meal consisted of dry, crunchy rice. The service was poor and not friendly and could tell the staff didn't enjoy their job. There was one other group of people in the restaurant yet the mains took an hour to be served...   (food - June, 2009)

Don't even waste your time... you're better off buying El Paso DYI kits and cook at home.

Firstly, the softdrinks were flat - they were presumably poured from a 2L bottle, not from a can.

Secondly, the variety of dishes lacked - no chicken mole or "authentic" mexican choices.

Thirdly, the food was bland and unenjoyable - a dish described as being "chicken with rice" turned out to be "all rice with a teaspoon of chicken".

Fourthly, service was poor - it was an extremely quiet night (only 3 other tables) and the waitress was always popping out back to have a chat with the cooks... I had to walk up to the back and ask for service. She didn't even know what jalepenos were...

I'm sorry to sound cruel, but it was possibly the worst dinner I've ever had.... don't even bother.   (Marie - February, 2009)
