After hearing many great reviews, my husband and I decided to try this restaurant. We were incredibly disappointed. I didn't mind the outdated decor or the fact that it was very noisy, but the service was awful - we weren't given glasses for the bottle of wine be brought with us, we had to ask twice for water and our entree came out after our first main! On top of that, the food was average. Overall, we'll be sticking to the Vietnamese in Kingston!   (Angela - March, 2010)

I agree - don't even look at the menu! Just ask Tahn to bring you something nice. He'll look after you without any fuss, the come as they should. Fabulous!!

All our experiences with the Griffith Vietnamese Restaurant have been enjoyable and we keep going back. The only comment I would have of our most recent experience was that it was fairly crowded on the particular day and made conversation a little hard.   (June, 2008)

We've never once been disappointed by our meals (which often include suggestions made by the very friendly, patient and obliging staff). The only thing I'd add is that some tables near the 'business' end of the restaurant can be a bit noisy. But overall the restaurant has a happy atmosphere that allows one to feel relaxed - not 'on show' as in other establishments - and just get on with having a good (and delicious) time.   (pl - See my reviews (3) - March, 2008)

Tam looks after everyone like royalty. I have been there on numerous occasions and have never used the menu. The Salt and Pepper Calamari is to die for. 1,000 out of 10   (ashpat - See my reviews (2) - November, 2007)
