Visiting from Brisbane, had seen Gurkhas on a previous trip and decided as we love Nepalese food we would give this a try (btw Nepalese food is NOT Indian food and there is a difference for the uninintiated). We chose the Tenzing Banquet and it was divine - every last bite was an amazing experience and to die for. The yoghurt and vegie started is unbelievable! Also the Goat Curry is one of the best I have had - slow cooked so the goat is tender and marinated in the most delicious curry spices (if you think yuk goat - give it a try, never thought I would like goat but when cooked properly it is a delicious meat). The service was superb and quick and the atmosphere is gorgeous. This place will be a firm favourite and feature on our list of places we must eat in Melbourne for a very long time to come.   (See my reviews (10) - September, 2009)

Good to see it is still prospering. We stopped in November 2003 after visiting the Aquarium and had a wonderful meal. We have recommended it to all our NY friends who have gone to Australia. Some claim to have eaten there. I hope so because the food was quite memorable.   (Joe Purcell - May, 2008)

The food is amazing, great mix between Chinese and Indian. The menu is very large, with a great selection of vegetarian dishes (with some veg dishes that will even tempt a meat eater!)   (mkorjen - August, 2007)
