This is one of my favorites on Menulog. The food is lovely, some things can be oily but that's easily balanced with the dal and the like.

It's quite good value, which does make it hard to spend the $29 minimum delivery fee.

The food at Gurkhas is usually good but ordered from the St George St one in Fitzroy. Took 50 mins to arrive and got here luke warm. Had to microwave it to make it palletable. Was pretty disappointing.   (Vicki - December, 2009)

all very excellent.

we were missing one of the main meals when delivered but gave the restaurant a call who then called their driver, honest mistake. and our missing meal was in the bottom of another bag obviously being delivered to someone else, so not the drivers fault. perhaps more attention paid when packing deliveries into bags.

otherwise, wonderful food, fast delivery and great price.

Gurkhas in Prahran is fantastic but their North Fitzroy outlet failed to perform. The dahl was incredibly watery and the potato cakes weren't even edible - the Gurkha's Special is still very special though!
