An average experience. I went here before attending a show at the Portside Cinema complex and found it a little disappointing. I had lamb cutlets and vegetables and found them nothing more than...

We went out as a family of 4, 2 Adults & 2 teens...no booking and settled upon trying Italian....Quick seating, all staff were polite, never felt rushed when asking a question. Matteo was our waiter and his service was excellent. We asked for his opinion on his favourite entree, main and dessert and we went with his suggestion plus more and every single dish was absolutely beautiful. We never eat dessert but as our entree and main was so delicous we could not leave without trying a dessert. The meal sizes were the perfect amount to carry you on to the next course without feeling over full. Looking forward to returning SOON!!! This restaurant has just been added to the top of our favourite list for dining.   (Wanting to go Back!!! - June, 2010)

I visited Gusto da Gianni with my family and friends only last week and I though it was great. The food, the staff, the atmosphere were all excellent. They had a great selection of Italian dishes - huge menu - and the best tasting pizzas I have ever had! We had a group of 35 people and were exceptionally looked after - we all left extremely satisfied and very very full on scrumptious food, great wine and yummy desserts. I will definitely be returning... SOON!!   (BGallot - October, 2009)

We tried to have a family Sunday lunch at Gusto. It was sold as a family restaurant, but no childrens menu! They offered adult portion and price Spag bol.

We ordered Paella and when I complained that there was a whole garlic bulb in the dish, I was told that it is a Spanish dish. I was surprised, having had Paellla in Spain that they did not care enough to strain there stock. Overall overpriced, unsatisfactory experience.   (ck - January, 2009)
