The food (had we had a chance to finish it) may have been good, however, we were rudely told by a young and unprofessional waitress that our 1 year old had to be restrained either in our arms or in a high chair "due to their liquor licence" - her words. Pity these so called rules were not bought to our attenrion prior to ordering drinks and meals - also of interest we have visited many surf clubs and other licensed venues that actually have bars and have NEVER encounted such rudeness. When we asked to speak to the manager he was equally as rude. If I were the owner of this store I would be worried about the conduct of the staff. Also I tried to order the ribs and asked for mash instead of rice - the same rude waitress advised that is not possible so instead of me ordering a $32 meal I ordered a $17.95 half rack served with mash - Hogs Breath Byron Bay = very disappointing
