Overall 5.5 - Food 6, Ambience 5, Value 8, Service 3

I was looking forward to dining at Holy Grail - it looked to have a good menu and it's a very handy location for city workers looking for a weekday lunch. Unfortunately, from the minute we walked in, the service was very ordinary. One of the waitresses seemed very put out to have to serve us and did her fair share of eye-rolling and sighing throughout. The meals were ok - although the fried chilli squid hadn't the slightest hint of chilli about it, and the chef forgot to dress our salads. But the biggest problem was feeling as though our presence was a thorough inconvenience for the staff. I don't intend returning, nor would I recommend the Holy Grail to any of my friends.   (lunch@work - September, 2007)
