There is definately an art in what these Japanese chef's do! There were seven of us and each table has there own personal chef who creates a fun atmosphere and an experience wanting you to go back for more. There were combusting hot-plates, egg catching in a bowl (i missed the egg but my trousers did not!) bowl-stacking and you had to catch five bowls on top of each other where the last bowl was full of rice ( two of our party wore the delectable rice!) we even ate prawn heads and drank Sake (Japanese rice wine). We ordered a set meal that we all agreed with and at $30.50 per person we walked out full and satisfied with this wine-dining experience. the meal had tempura fish with galic butter and vinegar drizzled over the fillets, melt-in-your-mouth steak! i never thought steak or chicken could "melt" but the juicey tenderness of these meats left you begging for more! The prawns were oversized and complimented its soy and wine marinade. We ate with chopsticks (but you can require a fork) which gave us more laughs as we struggled with the traditional form of eating. We ate, we drank and we certainly left merry and not without stories to tell our families and friends! I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT, I HAVE BEEN HERE 6 TIMES IN 6 MONTHS. I HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO EVERYONE I KNOW & THEY HAVE ALSO LOVED IT!! SO FAR I HAVE TWO FURTHER BOOKINGS IN THE NEXT MONTH. LOVING IT GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK... BEAUTIFULL FOOD!!!   (See my reviews (2) - January, 2007)

Teppan-Yaki is an awesome resturant for a fun night out. It's Japanese food cusine and the chefs cook right in front of you. The best part of the night is when the chefs ask you to catch raw egg's and fried rice =) Although the entertainment by the chefs was short, it was still a fun-packed night!!
