    Consistently magnificent. The service can be a bit slow, but the staff are incredibly warm and helpful. My favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne.

    the service at Indian Tukka has been very dissapointing on two occasions now and although the food is average and pricing is reasonable, I will not be returning, despite living across the road.

      This is, one of the BEST Indian places I have had the pleasure of dining at. I enjoy their dishes, the sauces are thick, flavourful and DON'T have that grimmy oily taste you get at most other places.

      You can order your favourite curry here and experience something absolutely amazing, I have never had such a devine Korma, or a beautiful Aloo Gobi before.

      You will devour these dishes. They manage large functions fantastically and coordinate things RIGHT, the woman who owns/runs the place is a treat of a woman, helpful and friendly when you're a first timer, recommending fantastic dishes and being down right honest!

      Bit pricey on the scale of things, but it is entirely worth it.

      Goan Fish Curry is simply, simply -"Out of this world !" - heavenly - if there is a state of heaven in food, having the Goan Fish Curry is the closest experience you'd get - one taste and you're in gastronomic "Nirvana !". And I know my Indian food, having eaten around Melbourne and suburbs....I have had really bad Indian elsewhere before.....

      Goan Fish Curry: Aromatic, sweet enough but not too sweet, with just the right amount of heat, cooking heat wise as well as spice-wise. The flavour infuses through your palate and then seemingly flows through your entire body (as your mind would have you believe) permeating through your skin and entire being.....

      Other notables would be Kashmiri Beef......owners ( husband and wife team "Brenda and Alban" - Indian Catholics are themselves from the Region of Goa in India. Service with a smile... Surroundings are very poshy in a boutique sort of way - smallish restaurant - Not an everyday joint (prices are a bit steep), but definitely, definitely a thorough recommendation for intimate special occasions, "Birthdays", "Proposals", "Anniversaries", "Work celebrations" for groups from 2 to 40. Yes they do also serve table for ONE as well, for you loners out there.   (Francis & Lin - November, 2008)
