    For 2008 The Good Food Guide has elected Jacques Reymond Restaurant as the only 'Three Hat' Restaurant in Victoria. We are very honored to receive this award.

      Easy to see why this is one of Melbourne's top restaurants. This was a real dining experience. The service was brilliant in a really comfortable atmosphere (even though it's very fine dining). The food was amazing - every course was perfect. For the experience the price was quite reasonable as this is a special occasion restaurant.       JR never disappoints, wonderful atmosphere, excellent dishes and service. The times we have been to the restaurant, JR was experimenting with Asian fusion. We havent been since last year (2006). I love the mansion, it gives a sense of exclusivity and old glamour which makes it an experience rather than just a dinner. JR himself was there the times we have been.

    Jacques Reymond - Jacques Reymond is very much the person behind his Restaurant, very involved in each stage of planning the perfect meal for you. His passion for food is only matched by his passion for wine. His French training and technique combined with finest Australian produce and with the combination of Asian influences he creates dishes of brilliance. The feeling of warmth and intimacy of the premises, blended with wonderful food and wine list create the ultimate dining experience. Four years ago the Restaurant was totally renovated and refurbished and the Victorian Mansion is looking at its best.
