I live in close vicinity to this restaurant and enjoy lunches though find the coffee lacking in taste. The atmosphere is fine for a suburban lunch atmosphere. I decided to try it for dinner and was disappointed to find the lighting very bright, the heating inadequate (esp. in a Tasmanian winter) and the music appalling. I ate my very average French style chicken dish with Oz Rock music blaring out from the kitchen in a much too bright atmosphere with my overcoat on. The waitress, who said she had been there for only 2 weeks, was delighful and was an "oasis in the desert"f or me. She recommended a nice wine and pointed the small "radiator" towards me when i commented on the chill in the air. I have coeliac disease and need to eat gluten-free the staff were more than happy to assist with this requirement and understood what eating gluten-free meant.
