Quality ingredients, highly qualified chef's and a passion for food that is made to perfection, are the essential components of the Old Mill cafe and Bakery.

Steve and Judy Johnson blended the old with the new whe nthey bought the old Longford mill whch was attached to their bakery. Their dream was to create an establishment which would serve as a place to nip in for a quick coffee and pastry, sit down for a tasty gourmet snack from the wood fired pizza oven while enjoying a glass or bottle of some of Tasmanias best wines as well as creating a venue for family celebrations on special occasions.

Steve and Judy are adamant that their success is mainly due to the fact that even though they own the business, they still play an important rolein overseeing the production process.

We invite you to our famous JJ's Bakery Cafe situated in the historical town of Longford. We are open from 7am - 7 days a week. Enjoy our sour dough breads, continental cakes and pastries, gourmet wood fired pizza's, expresso coffee, Tasmanian wines and beers, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere in a heritage building - originally a flour mill. We bake fresh 7 days a week on our premises.
