      We went there for sunday lunch and had one of the worst meals i have had in a long time. the staff were slow to offer drinks and i hjad a piece of scotch fillet that was not cooked to order and was at least 50 percent fat. i complained to the waiter and got no response from the manager or anyone else....Will not be going back ever or will the 16 guests we had with us.....   (February, 2011)

      I went there with my husband and couple of friends from NSW and I decided to try this restaurant. We had to wait around 40-45 minutes for each meal (restaurant were not busy), however when we ordered the dessert (another 30 minutes), the Hot Chocolate Fondant, Smoked Chocolate Ice Cream (ie, petit gateau) that my husband ordered was burned and smelled burned. However, after discussion with the restaurant manager, they charged us for the piece of cake $16, because the manager insisted that there was nothing wrong with the cake, after check with the chef.... . Never thought that a "top" restaurant can risk their business for only $16. There are a lot of restaurants better than this one and with better service...   (CMO - February, 2011)

      We decided at the last minute to dine at Jolleys. (I checked out their menu online before I left and had already decided what I was going to have). When I got there the menu had changed :(

      We chose things we didn't know or had tasted before, but certainly weren't disappointed (apart from the small serve of abalone - think there was about 6 thin slices - not really enough to get a taste).
