"A nice resturant. The desert menu needs something lighter - fruit salad/fresh fruit/berrys and ice cream ets, The banana pudding was way over the top in sweetness. The wait for the first course was too long. The service when we got it was pleasant and friendly- apart from the sweets the menu was interesting, original, nicely cooked and presented."

This place is great, my favourite restaurant in the frankston area by far. The food has always been fab and the service is excellent. Atmosphere is good too.   (Donald - May, 2008)

Food was flavoursome but not overspiced. Great presentation - not a huge range of courses but that works to advantage as the quality was high - fully recommended. Seats a little hard though - maybe my bony rear end.   (April, 2008)

we were seated in a draught, would have been better outside as it was a nice day when we were there. A La Carte quite expensive, set menu good value for money   (soleil - March, 2008)

We were in a draught inside, would have been better outside as the day was warm but cool indoors. Slightly expensive on the a-la-carte, but the set menu was ok.   (March, 2008)

Our saturday afternoon Lunch was great we sat outside under the shade of the delightful garden, the Mozzies were very happy to see us but our waiter made sure we all had adequate insect repellent and they soon disappeared. The ambience was excellent very relaxing itfelt like we were on the French Riviera not the kananook creek. Our waiter was most attentive and ensured we were well looked after plenty of wine and water the food was excellent.Thank-you   (Kananook Creek Boathouse - January, 2008)
