I used to dine here regularly about a year ago and was looking forward to another good meal.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a change of management and the value for money has disappeared.

I ordered the surf & turf which was priced at $34, now I don't really have an issue with that as in the past I usually got a large plate with heaps of vegies or chips with lots of prawns and a nice slab of scotch fillet. In this case, I got a small plate, with a small scotch fillet, 3 prawns, yes that's '3' prawns but it gets better. There was "HALF" a roast potato and "HALF" a roast tomato (never mind the fact that I asked for no tomato as I am allergic to them)! That's it, that's all I got, I couldn't believe it.

Then, my partner orders the grilled barramundi. This dish looked reasonable, even though it was a bit light on in volume, however half way through her meal, she discovers 'on' her barramundi, a short and curly hair! When management was confronted with this they said it was an eyelash, but it was definitely a short & curly that looked more like a pubic hair.

We immediately demanded our money back (I had sent my meal back in the meantime due to the tomato issue) but they were only willing to pay for my partners meal. They refused to refund my meal as they had already cooked the new surf & turf 'without' the tomato.

I resigned myself to this fact and began to eat my well done surf & turf. The beef was overcooked in some places & undercooked in others? In the end we left, and normally I would put pen to paper like this, but was so outraged at the managements apathy towards their customers, thought I should let others know.
