After 25 minutes had to call somebody to get us a drink and then still had to wait a further 10 or 12 minutes before it was served. They did not have 5o% of the wines on the menu.

The main meal was served one at a time with a wait of 6 minutes between the first person getting her chicken to the last person getting his dish. Obviously nobody could start before the last dish was served.

Owner did try to make up to us by serving himself but then when we wanted a port with the coffees he had an empty bottle on the shelf and three bottles of sherry he thought were port.

This lack of service and stock was a pity because the food was good and the restaurant could do well.   (July, 2008)

I will not go back as I thought the food was average for the price we paid.   (July, 2008)

This was our second time here....the food was excellent again...but we did have to wait almost an hour for our main meal...which was pretty average...I do think that like a lot of places they are stuggling with keeping staff.....But they need to try and lift their game in this area   (Brenda - See my reviews (2) - April, 2008)

We went over Easter so yes it was busy and we had to wait.

The food was very different but excellent. The prices were also very reasonable. We had rellies from UK with us and they loved it. We are going back next month   (Brenda - See my reviews (2) - April, 2008)

Overall 4.5 - Food 6, Ambience 4, Value 7, Service 1

nice food although any food is nice after waiting an hour for it. 15 mins inbetween mine and my girlfriends main coming out (on a table of 2) and when we raised the issue with the manager he really didnt seem to care. Was our 2nd time but never again.   (March, 2008)

Overall 2.3 - Food 3, Ambience 2, Value 1, Service 3

Service was slow, meals did not come out together. We had 2 meals exactly the same on our table but there was about 10mins wait in between.

Steak was very average.

Won't go back   (February, 2008)

Overall 3.3 - Food 5, Ambience 2, Value 4, Service 2

1. Waitress did not know what the house wine was.

2. We were served by at least 4 different people.

3. Long wait for food (30-40 minutes)

4. Had to pay extra for vegetables with main course.

5. Wouldn't serve half rice/ half chips with main, made us pay extra.

6. Steak was very fatty, smoothered in too much sauce.

7. Long time in between main courses to be served.

8. Kept being asked what was missing from our order, had to repeat ourselves a lot!

9. No communication between staff, too many questions and interruptions to us to check on what was ordered.   (Andrea - See my reviews (2) - January, 2008)
