How sad that the commentary below does such a disservice to Kitschen and how quickly the world changes. We had dinner Saturday last and the food and service were simply first class. There has been a distinct regime change at the restaurant and Kitschen is somewhat more than "charmingly incomplete". The food has improved beyond expectation and the preponderance of Italian has given way to elegant simplicity in its "modern Australian" menu. The piece de resistance came when our ice cream cake was bought out and served- entirely melted. Notwithstanding this fiasco, we were charged cakege fees each. Will not be returning there again. He was extremely disapointed. We also had to wait over 1 hour and 15mins to recieve our main meal and there was only 6 other couples in the restuarant.
