The ultimate beachside location, La Beach offers sunset views across the harbour and seafood with a French twist. The French do seafood very well. The subtle use of sauces with simple dishes and a focus on local produce is what makes this cuisine style so distinctive. The menu successfully incorporate Top End specialities such as pearl meat, barramundi, crocodile and buffalo along with premium imports. Good wine and spirits list.

Limited, but very imaginative menu. Service and atmosphere is a bit "Coles cafeteria" but it is beachside and they can get away with casual. Lights onto the beach would improve the feeling that you are actually at a beach restaurant.Food is excellent and the saving grace.   (October, 2007)

Sunsets are beautiful! Food quite avarage, for the price we paid we certainly had better food before... Also all my three dishes had exactly the same garnish?!? Service wasn't bad but they forgot to ask us about deserts...   (Dave - September, 2007)

They try very hard to provide good service, a rare thing in Darwin. There is still the laid back casual vibe of the beach front setting, but you can expect to be treated like a valued customer and the waiters are excellent by Territory standards, they still slip in a "Can I get yous another drink" or "are yas havin a nice night?" but it just ads to the warm Darwin vibe, and makes you grin if your just back from Sydney... you know you are home... and you wouldn't be anywhere else for the world!   (Chris - May, 2007)

Wonderful beach views, ideal at sunset. Best barramundi I have had in Darwin, friendly and attentive service.   (annabelle - See my reviews (3) - May, 2007)

Absolutely lovely evening with beach & magnificent night with sunset in background.

Pina Colardo Drinks seemed watered down a little apart from that a great night that was only downside if that is important?

Staff lovely.   (April, 2007)
