I know that for many people it's all about food, which is decent on La Boheme, I'll give 'em that. However there are plenty of places with decent food out there, as competition is fierce and nice restaurants are popping out on every corner these days. Great venue, interesting and tasty food and good wine list. Pity then that service let them down, with a waitress (whilst attentive enough), not being able to speak understand English clearly. I appreciate it is a Czech Restaurant but we are in Australia after all, and this resulted in one dish not being as ordered, as well as being charged for mineral water we did not order at all. Staff then proceeded to argue with us, which was not the best way to finish what was otherwise a great meal. Best GLUTEN-FREE (GF) dining experience I've had in a long time. The staff were very knowledgeable with which foods contain gluten. They even had GF complimentary bread! Overall 8.5 - Food 7, Ambience 10, Value 7, Service 10
Had Golden Duck.Meal OK.Nothing extraodinary.Had to ask for steak knive to carve off hard to get pieces of duck. Overall 9.8 - Food 10, Ambience 10, Value 9, Service 10
