I have been going to this restaurant regularly for almost a decade, my dining experiences have always been first rate. The food is authentic and yes, it takes time to prepare. It's interesting that the bad reviews are anonymous - which makes me question the motives of the reviewers. We were unfortunate enough to be next to a very noisy group. When they left, the ambience was pleasant.Great food, wide choices,served hot and generous helpings.Our greeting and order-taking fine but the second wait-person somewhat surly. When water was requested, Evian at $7.50 was brought so this was queried and tap water ungraciously delivered.We were not offered an ice bucket for the champers.

The owners do a great job, mixing friendliness with professionalism - it's a pity the staff and inconsiderate customers do not do the same.   (Marjoram - December, 2009)

My husband and I have been to this restaurant a number of times over the years and have wonderful memories of each and every time. The food is wonderful, the service friendly, and I just love the decor. Our daughter wants to have her 16th birthday dinner (in October) with us at a French restaurant, and this is the only restaurant that we will consider taking her to because I know that our entire family will enjoy the experience enormously.   (Jo Keir - October, 2009)
