Chef | Pedro Otiniano - I started cooking at a very young age to learn to look after myself when i grew up on my own and i would never have imagine that i was going to be representing my country one day makins some of the best Peruvian dishes here in Sydney and i have to thank my mother for teaching me the secrets of my grandmothers recipes from the ancient Peruvian cuisine and wonderful dishes of the norht of Peru, Chiclayo, where the best seafood dishes are from, like our famous Ceviches, Sudado de Marisco, Jalea de Pescado and camarones al aji, these are some of the seafood dishes i do recomend to try and if you are a soup lover please try our Parihuela (Crab & Seafood) or Chupe de Camarones ( shrimp chowder). |

Before me and my wife went to Peru on our holidays to visit one of the seven wonders of the world the great Machu Picchu, we organize a dinner party at la cocina peruaana with some of my closest friends and we were very happy and satisfy with the quality of the food and different variety of the menu and very authentic cuisine really surprice me and my friends. I recommend this restaurant to all the food lovers i do give them a 10 for the food and service. I had for my entree ceviche and then i went for the most espensive main the sudado de mariscus as i'm a seafood lover and it was fantastic. good on ya Peru. Bloody marvellous cuisine....is about time something new and tasty has arrived to Australia. I order those chilli prawns for an entree and for seconds i had a sudado of seafood and i tell you that this is by far the best taste of seafood i had and I do go out alot with my family.
