      I've lived in quite a few places along the east coast and La Fettucina has always remained my favourite restaurant. The lasagne is 2nd to none!       La Fettucina is by far the best Italian restaurant in town!!! The service is impeccable, the wine is of the best quality the beer is always cold- and of course the food is second to none!

      It is often very hard to get a table but even on the odd occasion my fiance' and I turn up without a booking- Johnny always goes that extra mile to find us a table

      We have dined in many Italian restaurants throughout Australia even the most reputable ones on Lygon st in Melbourne, and let me tell you that's where there is bad service- I find it very hard to believe that anyone could ever have a bad experience at La Fettucina   (Andrew & Renaee - June, 2009)

      As a Cairns local who has travelled extensively within Australia and overseas, I'm perfectly happy to endorse La Fett as one of my favourites.

      Staff is invariably friendly and helpful, and it's pretty good value for the money especially if you go for the specials.

      Service is laid back as is appropriate for Cairns and if it's a REALLY busy night the staff keep you posted on progress.

      I don't know what happened to that last person but I always have a great night at La Fet, Johnny always makes you welcome and I love the food. The only prob is the occassional smelly street person that walks through the street but hey the police are usually not far and this is a Cairns problem not La Fets. I love the beef cap and the pastas are always great and if there is something that you would like changed John is always accommodating.   (Renee - See my reviews (27) - June, 2009)

      La Fettuccina was the WORST place i have ever been in Cairns. The service was what made the night really miserable. The waitress literally dropped our food on the table (brushcetta) and left it there until i complained to someone else to clean it up.

      It took an hour and a half from when we ordered to receive our meal. I was shocked because most reviews are good. Let me tell you La Fettuccina was horrible and i will never go back there nor will i recommend it to anyone. Horrible meals Horrible Service.   (worst dining exp in cairns - May, 2009)

      La Fettucina is a great restaurant, beautiful food, friendly atmosphere and easy to take children there. So popular it is sometimes hard to get a table. Have found staff sometimes get the requests wrong. We ordered ice coffees with no cream. We got cream. We ordered a larger serve and asked if we didn't get through it, if we could take it home. we were told that was ok, but she forgot and we didn't get to take it home.   (See my reviews (4) - October, 2008)

      La Fettuccina is definitely one of the best restaurants we have dined in. We usually have a steak and it is always top quality. Whilst I am not a big on italian food, I have also had the lasagne which was superb.
