  Went there today for lunch with a Groupon voucher. No problem with booking or attitude, but I DID book in advance (like the voucher asks you to) and I didn't try and eat for 2 and 2 halves on a voucher for 2. Had the mixed entree each, the steak marakesh and the cous cous royal, with the crepes and the briout to finish. The food was beautifully spiced and very delicious. Go for the briout for desert. We didn't have the service issues as it was fairly quiet in the restaurant. May maybe everyone has been put off by the bad reviews.....don't be.   (April, 2013)

  BAD BAD BAD - and I didn't even get to eat there. The attitude on the phone when trying to make a booking for my voucher was enough to turn me off. Contrary to the T&C's on the voucher, they have imposed an additional condition ... i.e. if bringing children with you, they MUST order/or pay for a main course each ... because they take up a seat each! Unbelievable ... even after explaining that we would be ordering something for the kids, but most likely not a main course each (they are 5 & 7 years old), and even after explaining we would take an early booking and be in and out quickly and therefore allowing them to serve an additional party on the same table on the same night ... and several other explanations and a long discussion .. the arrogance of the owner got the better of me .. who wants to give custom to such a business .. I will be seeking a full refund from the voucher company and based on all the bad reviews I have since read on various sites it looks like I have saved my self from a bad dining experience anyway :)   (LindaD - July, 2012)

  I visited La Kasbah restaurant on a Wednesday night, mentioned I didn't have a booking and was told that was no problem and was promptly seated. When visited by the waiter (presumably the owner) I mentioned I had a daily deals voucher. He promptly told me he could not fit me in and was fully booked. I debated having been just told this wasn't the case upon arrival (there was plenty of empty tables), however he told me and my guest to leave. I was treated rudely and with disdain. He told me I had to book, which I discussed I had tried to make a booking on approximately 6 occasions for either a Fri or Sat evening with at least one weeks notice. Each time availability was quoted at one month in advance time on each enquiry. Figuring mid week they'd be happy for the custom I gave that a go. Certainly I don't always know what I'm doing one month away. Overall a really awful experience and extremely rude encounter than left a very bad taste in my mouth. Clearly no concept of customer service from this establishment.   (AJ - May, 2012)

  I have never experienced the exellent taste of the moroccan food witch I thought hot as in chilli but that wasn't , It was a nice flouver of mild moroccan spiceses that they used at la kasbah drummoyne , as I tasted it in morocco , beautiful food . I recommanded to anyone who's looking for tasty moroccan tajines .

  I loved the unique taste. The food was presented in a way that made it even tastier. The waitress was very busy but still very friendly and helpful. It is a restaurant that i have already recommended to my friends. I loved the entire experience.   (March, 2008)
