What a great experience for our special Chritmas party. Went there with a group of 55 people. Absolutly unforgivable experience. Great ambiance, amazing food and very good service. We had a belly dancer and that was great and so much fun! We finally took a picture with the staff and the queen of the night, that made our night unforgetable, "The Chef". Highly recommend "La Kasbah".   (December, 2011)

I went to La Kasbah recently, with a group of 15 people. We started with the tunisian bricks, amazing taste, and the Duck Salad,Then we had the lamb shank, the Rabbit and the duck, the best duck ever made. The rest of the table did enjoy the Lamb Tagine and the Mouloukhia(special tunisian dish, exellent), very rich dishes and amazing taste. The meat was very tender and tasty. We had a great experience and we were so satify . The Chef is great and the food so fresh and healthy . I am definitely highly recommending this beautiful food at this cozy restaurant.   (August, 2011)

we went to La Kasbah with a group of 15 people to celebrate our marriage anniversary and we did order typical tunisian food with a typical tunisian desert ( aside be zgougou) unique experiment and we were extremely happy .

we end having some tunisian coffee and mint tea and that was amazing .

we will never forget this place where we spent such a great time .

it 's very spacious and the deco is very beautiful.

the music is of the hook (bedouin),the team is very warm and they made us feel just great.

we felt like home and i highly do recommend La Kasbah

restaurant that i do consider the best restaurant in Brisbane.go for it.   (February, 2010)

Dining at La Kasbah was a culinary delight. The decor is well designed, the staff very attentive and the food absolutely superb. If you haven't tried this restaurant then you don't know what you are missing out on. I have dined out in many Brisbane restaurants but this one rates as one of the best.   (La Kasbah - December, 2009)

I was there on Valentines with my fiance.

From the moment we walked in every second of our evening was special!

The restaurant was fully booked but all the staffs were there to respond to everyones needs.

We had a gorgeous meal: Sea Scallops for entree, Rabbitt and Quails for mains and a chocolate cake for dessert, followed by a beautiful bottle of Champagne Moet to celebrate...

A rose and a flower was offered by the owners.

we had an absolutly beautiful nite and experience that we will never forget.

We will definitely go back there.   (Tamba - February, 2009)

      Best Restaurant in Brisbane!

We went there for Christmas day and it was the most beautiful and unforgivable experience!

The Restaurant was very busy but the Staffs were very caring and absolutely professional!

They had a special menu and we had for entrees: Foie gras, to die for!. Seafood platter, french style, oh my god absolutely fresh and delicious and the smoked Salmon with a rocket salad was amazing! For mains we had The quails with onions and fig marmalade, rabbitt with prunes, orange duck with fresh fruits, so delicious!!! Mouloukhia their unique dish, so different but so amazing...

For dessert we had an amazing Strawberry with orange water and a gorgeous Fruit platter.

I have to say that the food, the service, the athmosphere and the generosity of the owners made my night the most beautiful and the most unforgettable.

Thank you la kasbah i will never forget you and i highly recommend this Restaurant   (dinomek - February, 2009)

This used to be a fantastic restaurant. Not anymore. We were 20 people and we found the service very slow (1 1/2 hour before food arrived on the table). When we asked for the food the response was another 5 min. The wine list was way too expensive and when we queried the prices they let us go to a bottle shop and buy our own drinks. However, they charged us $10 corkage per bottle. We provided our own birthday cake and they charged us $35 to bring it out for us. The food was ok to average. The service shocking. The only good thing was my friends who politely managed through the evening. Sorry but will not go back (RA - Feb 2009)   (February, 2009)

My husband and I had dinner at La Kasbah and it was wonderful!!! We have been in Brisbane for 3 weeks and this was by far the best meal we have had so far. The prices were similar to what we have seen on other menus, but this was the first time I have not been bothered by the price - for us the price of eating out in Australia is more then the USA where we moved from. The staff went out of there way for us and enhanced our evening. We highly recommend La Kasbah and will be back!!   (La Kasbah - November, 2008)

Its the best restaurant in Brisbane! I love it and i will always go back! Best food, best service, best athmosphere and fabulous music. It is a very romantic and cozy restaurant. I love the Orange Blossom Water they put in the hand to welcome you. I really love La Kasbah restaurant! Cheers.   (Jenny - June, 2008)

July (2007) We found it to be a most enjoyable place to eat. The style is Tunisian and therefore very unusual in Australia. We can recommend a traditional entree called "brik" and the soup (don't remember what it was called). Their Tunisian pasta was unexpectedly wonderful and nothing like the Italian ones. The only criticism is that the atmosphere was disturbed by a large TV mounted on the wall with what looked like American rappers and shots of California. 'why put a big TV in a restaurant where you are trying to create a romantic atmosphere?'   (TKM - August, 2007)

    • Overall 5 - Food 8, Ambience 6, Value 3, Service 3

Service staff uninterested. Left entree plates on table for entire meal, only removed when asked to after serving dessert. Food and wine very expensive. Food portions very small but very tasty. Not very professional - menus photocopied!   (See my reviews (3) - July, 2007)

I was in La Kasbah for my birthday back in June and I brought 20 of my friends, it was the most beautiful experience! I have to say that the food was very tasty and excellent! Very different and unique! Great belly dancer and a unique athmosphere! I really recommend this restaurant, you won't regret it and the owners are very beautiful people!   (Julie - July, 2007)

What a great restaurant and so friendly staffs and owners! I have been there before and it was great but now it got so much better! They spend so much money on renovation and try their best to please their custumers! The food is absolutely amazing, very tasty and so much quality, very generous owners and very friendly! I really felt like a queen when i went there. They have a huge selection of wine and a pretty big menu! I must go back and back and back to try every single dish. It is worth every cents. I love it and so is my husband. Great place and great athmosphere!   (Sarah - July, 2007)

Since the new management took over the food and service has greatly improved since the last review.   (kasbah - May, 2007)

    • Overall 2.5 - Food 3, Ambience 4, Value 1, Service 2

Service was average and quite slow (as restaurant began to fill, the scurrying around of service staff intensified with a commensurate decline in responsiveness), food expensive for the quality and size of portions, wine very expensive compared to other licensed restuarants. Australian wines avergaed $35-$40 and the 2004 Beaujolais Villages French wine (nothing special in France) we had cost $49. More than half the food menu was handwritten and photociopied - not very professional.   (Sat 24 Feb 2007 - February, 2007)
