    Veal Mushroom - great. Shish - Absolutely fantastic. Pesto Pasta - excellent. Servings were well sized, and food arrived HOT.

    Really can't recommend these guys highly enough. Contacted and confirmed details and delivery in only 30 minutes!

    This was FASTER and BETTER than the hotel's room service. As a regular hotel guest, I am using Menulog more than room service and am yet to be disappointed, something that cannot be said about hotel room service!     Deivery was spot on time...

    Serving sizes were large and the food itself was just beautiful, we tried 4 dishes and they were well above average... Stand outs were the vegetarian options which are usually so bland, but the pesto was unlike any other in Australia, just divine! Garlic pizza was really flavoursome...     Thankyou so much to all the staff at La Rustica restaurant Surfers Paradise. We recently held a hens night dinner there. The customer service there was amazing. The meals were delicious and prompt considering it was a party for 18 people. Great value for money. We all enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. The staff went out of there way to ensure we all had an enjoyable and memorable night. Good communication prior to the evening ensured special requests to be fulfilled. Karaoke available later in the night was a great warm up for our night out.

    Great food, great staff, great atmosphere!

    Highly recommended to any type of get together. Many of us will visit again.   (Crystal - March, 2010)

      This is a wonderful dining experience. My family has dietary needs and this was happily accepted by the warm & friendly staff & owners. Even on busy nights this was no issue to them. All food is made fresh & its all worth the wait & the cost. The setting is very warm, cosy & homely. Our children were well looked after food & entertainment wise, cirque de soleil on the TV and a magician some nights too. They play traditional music too. We had 2 dinners over 5 days. Vegetarians are very well looked after, be sure to try the cannelloni, moussaka & risotto. Garlic bread is all home made. Be sure to try this fantastic place.       From Melbourne for a couple of days only at the Gold Coast - I found this little Gem of a Restaurant on the Internet, and on the strength of the previous comments took three friends along to check it out. Wow, were we impressed.

      Its small, its unpretentious and can be a little crowded…..but geez, if I would not be hitched already, I’d marry the chef. Even if he is a bloke. (And I am a dinky die square.)

      We all had different dishes, and everyone was absolutely delighted with the food. I am a Veal Schnitzel Fan, and liked my dish so much that I went back on my own next day for another just before my plane left for Melbourne. One friend said he could not remember ever eating a better tasting steak. The Garlic Prawns in cognac cream sauce…..(for starters) delicious. Even their Garlic Bread is three notches above the usual

      The service was outstanding. I knew it was a BYO, thought they also have a license. When I brazenly asked our waitress if there was a bottle shop nearby, young and very pretty Maria even came to the door with us and directed us to one of two. (“It’s a bit cheaper there.”) WHAT?

      I do appreciate good service with my meal. The food came promptly, in the right order and with a smile. Importantly, the smiles of the two ladies who looked after us always came over as genuine, rather than the so often somewhat “ bland professional mind-set” one encounters even in some up-market places.

      All in all; best eatery I had the pleasure to discover in a long time. Visiting the Gold Coast? Don’t miss this one.

      I am still impressed by this place, been 3 times now and still no problems. I had the steak with garlic prawns covered in Cognac sauce with veggies. Again the best steak I have had so far, still! I asked for it medium rare and I got exactly that. Its great when you can go somewhere and constantly and consistantly get great food and great service. We spent $84 between two, brought our own bottle of wine (obviously there is a corckage fee), so for $40 a head (including starters and bread at the table) it was pretty good value.       I went to this restaurant last night in a group of 15 for my fiances & my birthday. I just have to start by saying this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Not often do you get the whole package, Food 10/10 - The best steak I have had in Australia, every person in our group that was eating there (and I mean every person) loved their dishes so much that they all said that they didn't want it to end. Every person had something different and every dish was perfect. Ambiance 10/10 - Quaint, authentic, and a great mood set inside. Value for Money 10/10 - The best value for money meal I have ever paid for, Its around $30 for a steak and again a great steak, but its like something you would pay $40 + for in a fancy place but I think I paid $34. Service 10/10 - If this site would let me rate above 10, then I would, absolutely amazing service, friendly people, smile on their faces always, I even spoke to the Chef and I thanked him for a great steak and he was happy I enjoyed it, the guys that was attending to us was great, anything we wanted or needed he would get it to us. Before we got into the restaurant we had a few drinks in the Koo Koo bar next door but one. They guy said he would pop his head in and let us know when the table was ready. There are only a few places that I have had this level of service It was great, the food took its time to get to the table BUT Well worth the wait and also the fact that they had 15 orders in one hit and they didn't stuff it up once was good. They also organized a birthday treat for us and gave us a selection of deserts on the house. We will be back for sure and I am looking forward to going again in fact we are thinking of going back tonight for dinner as it is valentines day, we will see...   (See my reviews (35) - February, 2010)

      What a fantastic place!!!! We went out as a foursome (2 were on a blind date) and we all had so much fun!! The food was excellent(try the prawn shish - OMG) and we had a great time singing karaoke after dinner. Our hostess Barbara was attentive without being over the top and the size of the restaurant is just perfect - you would swear you were in a little Italian ristorante somewhere in old Italy.
