      Have been on 2 occasions. On the first occasion the food was excellent as was the service. We returned for my mother's birthday and were very disappointed. The food remained good but the service was terrible. We were waiting for well over an hour for our food and declined to have desert as the wait was so long. After asking for the bill, I had to go and stand at the bar in everyone's way in order to be presented with the bill so we could pay and take my small child home. Not the best birthday party   (jay - March, 2010)

      We have not been to La Tombola for 2 years but the excellent service and food has not changed. The owner remembered us and welcomed us back, he greets each person as they enter the restaurant and knows most of the customers. Hence the reason people keep going back to La Tombola. He is very courteous but not in your face.   (See my reviews (8) - July, 2008)

      Food is served very quickly even when busy. The food is excellent. Noise levels when busy mean conversation is dead.   (pete - See my reviews (17) - January, 2008)
