    Hmmm, have ordered here before and it was great. This time, delivered cold, 35 minutes after expected delivery time and with one dish not correct. Also, the rogan josh dish was the oiliest thing I have ever seen. Very disappointing.   (Jennifer - See my reviews (6) - April, 2013)

    Food was 35 mins later than promised, when I rang to complain they told me that they wouldn't deliver to me anymore because I had complained! Despite ordering from them previously.     Have to say - this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Sydney. Their food is absolutely delicious - full flavoured, excellent curries - their curries are very tasty. I was not disappointed.     this would have to be the best indian on menu log. So good that we ordered it 2 nights in a row..... nothing else needs to be said.

    delivery was over an hour late and people who answered the phone when I called to check were rude. They initially said the delivery had left and it would be 2 or 3 minutes. 25 minutes later when it still had not arrived it was impossible to reach them with only an Answering machine or busy signal.

    Almost 2 hours for delivery, food had hardly any meat and the meat that was there are heaps of bones to it.

    They also forgot my drink from the order, and charging $3 for a can of coke is ridiculous!

    Not recommended. Overpriced. Slow and bland.

    Was really excited to try Indo/Pakistani food but unfortunately the food was very bland.

      We have been to lal qila 4 times, once organised big party and at other times just with family and noticed big difference in service every time. Last night the Indian punjabi waitress was ver rude, the right side hall was empty and we arrived there at 6 pm she told us to sit next to the entrance door and I asked her weather we can sit at the other side initially she said no, as those tables are reserved then later she told us you can sit there if it will gonna be under 1 hr, later after 2 hrs the hall was still empty, felt really bad due to the treatment... She was also rude and wanted to have an argument ... I feel the Indian waiters there don't give good service to Pakistanis there, the owner should look into this matter as the service should be equal for every one   (January, 2013)
