    Have been here before and very disappointed this time. Bar service slow, and the Meals were very average compared to previous times, the most uninspring Chicken Parmiga I have ever eaten.

      I've had better service at a Self Serve Garage. This place has so much potential but the general lack of service is terrible. Management don't seem to care either and yelled at our table when we asked them about it. I wouldn't even go back for a free meal.

      Overall a good place for lunch, wonder what it would be like when it is busy, as it just doesn't seem to be able to cope if busy. A good honest feed for a reasonable price, pub grub.

      Been a couple of times food nice and they have catered for me and my partners needs.. The only let down is the coffee and as we are both coffee lovers, I feel they need to improve the quality of the coffee served to the needs of the client everyone enjoys coffee after a meal. Thanks Rob

      We went about 4 times and found this place to be friendly and the food was good pub grub. A little bit more expensive than Nicholsons (on the same road) but the food is much better quality. I would reccomend it if you wanted somewhere to eat local.

      the service was really slow... it took almost an hour and a half to get the food. the food was really expensive. one of my guests at the table twice throughout the night had to wait longer. and his coffee he ordered was forgotten. we were told to get our own drinks and because everyone was trying to get drinks the bar got crowed and we ended up blocking the path for the staff, it ended up being a dissapointment.

      Very nice place,need some decorate touching ,something what give this place a special atmosphere,egz:a colection off beer glasses,beer mugs etc, a plate mat with a restaurant logo, a decorative old beer barrel. It would give this place a special meaning .It was our firs time,so I may got use to the restaurant as it is, or if you really take my advice this could me my favorite place for dining out.       on the day that we visited this venu for dinner it was rather full. the food was pub grub wich we expected and service was ok. I was looking for more pommy style of food cause of the tudor style building. I would class this place as cheap and chearful

      The service was great - friendly and prompt. The warm fireplace set a nice ambience. The food, although the chicken was slightly underdone, was very palatable. Well worth a visit.
