How your order is processed:

  1. Your order is transmitted to this restaurant the instant you submit your order,

    i am extremely unhappy with this restaurant . food turned up two hours after ordering it was cold and we put it in the fridge till after work the next night as it was now 11 pm . when we opened the food the next night we realised the chicken tikka had no chicken but prawns instead . i called them only to be asked " what do u want us to do about it " " we cannot change food that is a week or 24 hours old . i said this was unexcepable and they then said i could drive to the restaurant and change it . we spent $60+ on the meal and i would highly recommend that you try any other indian restaurant in the area as they almost all provide better customer service   (Gus - February, 2013)

    Ordered Veg Korma was very good, Butter Chicken was also tasty except goat curry, as goat peices were hard and tasteless..There was slight delay but they added few free pappadam in the deal..Overall good experience   (AbyG - October, 2012)

    It took 90 minutes for the food to arrive and once I had received it the food was cold. The Lamb Korma was also inedible as the lamb cubes were rock solid and very tasteless, the garlic on the garlic Naan was also burnt.     We have eaten from here a lot and the food is constantly excellent.

    We are not keen on over spiced (chilli) dishes and we have found all dishes to be to our liking.

    Depending upon how busy they are in the shop seems to dictate the delivery time. Not all dishes available in the restaurant menu are available on home delivery.

    Good food and decent portion sizes. I had the chicken tikka and it was spicy (as requested) and very tasty. It was within delivery time but the estimated time was 1 hr and 10 mins.   (June, 2011)

    I have been to many Indian restaurants in Sydney... but I never had such a great food experience that I had while dinning out at Laughing Ganesha last weekend. I recently moved to St Leonards area and was in a hunt for a good Indian Restaurant and after going through a lot of bad experiences with other restaurants Ganesha proves to be among the top restaurants delivering best quality food in Sydney.

    The best thing is the essence of the Indian food, one goes back to indian roots while having a bite of the food. I had yet only tried Kofta, Achar Goat, Dal, Pindi Channa, Tikka and Panner and I am fully satisified with the quality and quantity of the food.

    Staff is very nice, you will always receive a warm welcome whenever you enter the restaurant. For a good and warm experience at an authentic Indian Restaurant a visit is must at Laughing Ganesha.   (July, 2010)

    I love Laughing Ganesha as an eat-in dining experience, however I was very disappointed with the speed of the delivery and the temperature of the food which diminished the quality significantly. Delivery took an hour and a half in the end. I phoned the restaurant at the 1 hour mark (20 mins after the estimated time of arrival) to make sure the order was actually in progress. I was told it was "coming now" but had another half hour wait (my home is 5 mins drive from the restaurant). You might say I should've gone and picked it up, but I have a child who was sleeping so wasn't able to leave the house. As a result the food was barely warm on arrival and gave me the impression it had been driven around all of Lane Cove before arriving at our doorstep.   (Sharyn - March, 2010)

      All in all a very good dining experience for the money. The service was top notch and the food was in good portions. We left the restaurant feeling comy and satisfied. For $26 for 3 course meal in North shore you couldn't ask for better. To top it all we were in awe of the live kitchen,presentations and the personal looking after by the chef.   (abail - April, 2008)
