    Feels blessed to have stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. When we first moved to Melbourne from Perth we were told by friends that this was the best Indian food in Melbs, and they were so right! We tried to get there as often as we could. The Ambience, the wonderful staff and sensational food just kept luring us back. We are sad to say goodbye to the Le Taj when we move back. Highly recomended!! :)   (Amber - February, 2011)

    The dishes at Le Taj were not very authentic. The tandoori chicken was little more than roast chicken in gravy. The Tikka, Saag, and Korma were all similarly bland. The entrees were VERY oily.     a very good experience.

    Service was excellent very welcoming and attentive. Onion bhajis were a big hit and the best i have tasted so far in Melbourne! The lamb was a bit dry but fish curry was beautiful. Highly recommend...

      The staff were most welcoming and friendly. It was a pleasant dining experience. The food was very nice, however the vindaloo lacked the subtlety of others we've tried previously but was still very enjoyable. It was a little disappointing that the masala tea was served with milk and without the whole spices as we are used to. All in all, the service was excellent, meals came out promptly and we were well looked after without feeling as though we were being hassled. Thank you for a great evening.
