I have always found the food and service at Lebrina to be of the highest quality. My only negative comment relates to the ambience which tends to be a bit too formal. Also, the rooms are quite small and one tends to talk quietly and guardedly as you sense your conversation can be overheard by other diners.   (Peter Gillis - April, 2008)

In an understated restored colonial cottage in Newtown, Lebrina consists of 3 intimate rooms. Impeccable service. Well crafted menu featuring the best in Tassie regional produce. Nice little touches like a sample of marinated olives while perusing the menu. The slow cooked daube of lamb was a standout.Our B&B hosts recommended Lebrina and it certainly lived up to its reputation!   (See my reviews (3) - October, 2007)

Very good service and great food. Very good wine list. Our only negative was that the dining room was cold and we couldn't remove our coats throughout the evening which deminished the enjoyment. A fire in the fireplace, even if it were gas, would be a great improvement to the ambience for cold winter nights.   (geoff - June, 2007)
