    As a visitor to the region I tend to visit only one restaurant in Echuca. This time I tried the Left Bank, was quite satisfied and will revisit down the track perhaps when more established.

      Duck & mushroom Tortellini was undercooked and best described as an average dish prepared by a first year apprentice, no pork served with the gnocchi with pork hock even though gnocchi itself quite good, chicken dish very dry, suckling lamb (bit of braised lamb neck casserole) was tasty but something easily achieved by any continental hotpot by mum on a Wednesday night. and to top everything off the dessert served with the poached strawberries only actually had sugar syrup poured over them as explained later by the waiter that is how they poached them(did i miss this technique in cooking school) this along with the rice pudding with pineapple syrup which tasted more like a rice dish boiled with the subtle hint of coconut suntan lotion and two pieces of glazed pineapple topped off an otherwise very ordinary meal. Wine was good though

      We love Left Bank, we have eaten there a least 6 times, making a point of eating there when we are in the area. Foods great best Duck and quail and the dessert are just to die for. Staff are very friendly and professional, great staff especially Mal. Thanks once again for a great evening

      A good experience, but not "great". Food was of a high standard, though menu lacked originality. The service let us down a little.

      After years of one restaurant dominating in Echuca it is nice to see another restaurant take the mantle and become the best little restaurant Echuca has to offer. Please do yourself a favour and dine here and you will not be disappointed.

      The food was the best food that I have had for a long time. The waiting staff was excellent and also the sommelier very good with the wines. Also there is a lot of vegetarian food and gluten free; well recommended.
