Went to your restaurant in cobram last monday night, Ordered four steaks,my partner ordered rare porterhouse with pepper sauce,steak was well done with mushroom sauce,which she is allergic too,sent steak back,came back medium to well, other three steaks were over cooked and tasted like leather,ordered chips,given wedges and told bad luck,no one ate more than four bites of the horrible meal and the waitress didn't even ask why ? Table next to us complained as well, with out doubt the worst meal I have ever had, thanks for nothing   (ian - November, 2011)

This is the place to be in Shepparton! I recently had a wonderful night out. We started with dinner downstairs on the main level and ordered from the seafood specialities board. The reef and beef and crayfish indulgence were absolutely incredible! Definately value for money. The staff were wonderful and helped us pick a wine suitable with our meals. Afterwards we ventured upstairs to the Attik, which is a newly decked out 50s style bar. This you must check out! A lovely atmosphere. Excellent band. And a variety of beautifully presented cocktails which are quite reasonably priced. We even tried one of the famous fish bowls (which i recommend if youre out for a big night!). Overall, this has now become my favorite venue in the area - I will be back every week!!   (miss1904 - September, 2011)

Mediterranean chicken was definately not worth the money, found my meal very poor taste and disappointing, very little effort put in. Waitress took our meals away before we finished and did not ask whether we were finished. Will not be back anytime soon.   (napoleon20 - March, 2011)

Im at the restaurant six days a week ( we do not open Mondays) so if you do decide to visit us again and you felt there was something wrong or something was not right I would encourage you to ask for me (Mario Letizia) and I will recitfy any problems quickly and efficently with out fuss. It is really hard to fix any problems through this style of communication, and I assure you Im in the business of making people happy and I wish I could say we were a perfect restaurant we are not , from time to time things go wrong, and if the customer lets us know straight away I assure you, we fix it swiftly.

I apologise that your experience was not to your satisifaction and if you would like to discuss this matter further I would encourage you to ring me at the restaurant so we can resolve any other concerns you may have.

I just came back from overseas and have been living in france for a few years, my first night in shepparton was in Letizia's and the waiters were exellent, welcoming and warm. The food was great, the drinks were really awesome, i havent eaten in such a great place in a very long time and i am very happy to say i am staying in shepparton now and will be making regular visits here. It accommodates for everything and everyone. Very very impressed!!   (Latizia's - January, 2011)

Have eaten at Letizia's many times. Experiences vary from day to day.

Often order the yum cha platter as either a starter to share or a single lunch. Usually this meal is reasonable. The last time I ate there it had changed considerably, without a menu change. The grilled calamari had been replaced by a couple of scallops, the sushi rolls had suddenly turned into 3 fresh rolls and 3 tempura battered fried rolls. All in all an odd combination. It honestly felt like the kitchen did not have the ingredients required to make the dish and instead threw together whatever they had laying around. The fried sushi was tough, lacked the flavour of fresh sushi and made me wonder if it was yesterday's sushi fried to hide staleness.

Service was average. Staff appeared uninterested and had to be chased for a drink or soy sauce (required for the yum cha platter!)

Restaurant response - Thankyou for your recent critique of my restaurant, I answer all of them wether its positive or negative, Im sorry that your yum cha wasnt to the consistany it usually up to and im not sure what happened with the sushi or why there was Tasmanian scallops on it (im puzzled) I took a copy to the kitchen to find out whats going on. we pride ourselves on consistant food and it always saddens me when we dont

meet it.

just celebrated my daughter's 21st downstairs tonight 19/6/10. Absolute congratulations and the biggest thank you to Mario. He promised that he would give us a good deal and he certainly came through with that and more, much more. We have dined at the restaurant quite a few times, but first time held a party there. Just one word best describes the dining experience that i had at Letizia's Restaurant and that word is SENSATIONAL

The new look menu is fantastic very bright and well presented. I love my steaks and had the texas t bone, wow what a meal, 750g steak my mouth is watering just talking about it. The service was professional and courteous, cant cknock any part of the restaurant i will be highly recommending to people to go and have the dining experience that Letizia's provide   (Fee - See my reviews (3) - January, 2010)

Wow what an experience, we recently had a work christmas party at Letizia's and no doubt we will be booking in early for next christmas. The food was sensational everything that we expected and more, the drinks package was great, and the service was exceptional, i highly recommend anyone who is planning a celebration to have it at this fantastic venue congrats guys excellent job..   (Fee - See my reviews (3) - January, 2010)

With recently having to go on a strict diet, i meet a friend for lunch at Letizia's and was very happy with the effort the waitress went to, too meet my needs and enjoyed everything at Letizia's, such a relaxed environment.

I have been visiting Letizia's since it first opened and have always been happy with the quality of food and service provided. However a recent visit showed that standards have slipped somewhat. I ordered the Macadamia Chicken, the chicken was dry and burnt on one side, the salsa which was a fruit mixed with a large amount of Spanish onion was inedible. My mother ordered the Seafood Salad which came with 15 Wasabi peas, this was not included on the menu. It was also soaked in dressing to the point where the lettuce was swimming in it at the bottom of the bowl. The service was sloppy and slow, the server forgot who ordered meals, reached across the table to take drinks etc. I will not be returning again. It was not very busy 4 tables, with ours being the largest, but it should not take 2 hours to get through a single course lunch. It was also disappointing that when we arrived (at 12:10) for our 12 noon booking time we were informed that our table was not yet set up, this was a 5-10 minute wait and when we were lead to our table it was one short. When queried this the server responded with 'oh, would you like another chair?'...of course we would! Is the 7th member of our party expected to stand for the two hours that it took for us to get through lunch?   (Penrhyn - December, 2009)
